Many costs go with running a dog rescue. Donations are critical to us being able to keep our doors open to those in need. Some of these costs include the following:

Vet Care – This is the most significant expense by far. Every animal we accept visits our rescue vet. They are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, sterilized, and anything else they need. Whatever they need is covered by adoption fees, donations, or from our pocket. 

Vet care also includes diagnostics (big one), vitamins, antibiotics, special foods for pups, surgeries, medications, hospital stays, boarding, cancer treatments, emergencies & more. We also donate to help animals that aren’t in our care but need immediate help. 

Other Costs – Food, toys, treats, cleaning supplies, pee pads for puppies, indoor and outdoor kennels, heat lamps and bulbs, fencing, house damage, gas, transportation, and more.
